Our Lodge
Terrace Lodge is located in the village of Putre, about 3.500m above sea level. This little town is the capital of the province of Arica and Parinacota and marks the entrance to the National Park Lauca, a globally recognized biosphere reserve. With its beautiful garden and privileged views over the snowy mountain peaks surrounding the village, the hotel offers a mystical yet quiet ambience. The rooms are simple and comfortable, inspired by the local culture with a touch of ancient traditions. The rustic but elegant decoration stems from the Aymara culture that is predominant in the region. Every room has a private bathroom, garden and mountain view.

As all our personnel are natives from the Altiplano region, we can show visitors the richness, traditions and rites of our ancient culture first hand.
Our goal is to portray the local Aymara culture, inform about travel routes tourism activities in the region, represent the Chilean hospitality and offer a place to get used to the high altitudes and discover the magical surroundings of Putre, like the National Park Lauca.
